ok, so theres this kid at my skool who i really like. im a freshman and im new 2 the skool, but he's a junior and he's not new. i told 1 of my friends that i liked him (she's in his grade) and she told me bout him. she sed that not a lotta gurls like him cuz he's shy n kinda quiet, but i think thats super cute (so i like him MORE!). anywayz, he's also super smart in math, which i also like, n my friend thinks i'd have a huge chance / him. evrytime we pass by eachother at skool, he smiles at me, n i smile at him, n wen i told my friend this, she sed he MUST like me cuz he's so shy n wouldnt do that 2 just any1. also, 2day at lunch, it was super packed n i was standin near him tryin 2 look 4 a seat (he was 2). i was talking 2 my friend so that i woodnt stare at him so much, but i felt that he was lookin at me (in a good way!). then i accidentally bumped in2 him n sum other kid, and i sed "oh, sorry...2 both of u!" n he laughed!!! it wasnt even that funny, but he did! DOES HE LIKE ME?????

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

try asking him. don't have someone ask. it'll be awkard if he's as shy as you say he is. so he'll say no to your friend, but he might say yes 2 u. the worst he could say is no.

I think that you should get to know him or..try and talk to him..become good friends..sooner or later...you guys might end up together!!

my only advice i can give to you is ask a friend to ask him if he likes you or you can go up to him and ask him yourself.
