Can you believe Saturday Night Live is getting rid of Chris Parnell and Horatio Sanz?
Why would theyu get rid of such great comedians.

Is SNL getting rid of them, or are they leaving SNL?
There has always been departures from SNL, from Chevy Chase leaving after the first year on.
SNL has fired their entire cast. Twice.
The only way for a performer to stay on SNL for more than a few seasons is to create popular recurring characters - and once they do that, Hollywood comes around and offers them a dumptruck full of money to make movies, and they quit SNL without looking back.

They are both doing well in the movies right now and the show needs a comittment to the show. they have to be able to take up the slack for Tina Fey leaving the cast. She was the head writer.
