Is it bad to lift more then once a day

Lifting twice a day is bad for several reasons.1:secretion of excess cortisol from the stress involved.Cortisol is a stress hormone as well as a testosterone antagonist meaning you can limit your testosterone secretion thus limiting anabolism. The other reason would be that weight lifting causes microtrauma which needs to heal in order to receive the benefit from the exercise.Myself and most of the rest of the serious lifting community will lift only once per day and train one muscle group only once per week.Lifting every day is counter productive and the only people that do this are professional bodybuilders who spend on average of 30-50 thousand dollars a year on their steroid and other illegal drug use.Look it up if you don't believe me.

I'm afraid I've never taken any weight lifting classes like the guy above me but spent hundreds of hours reading clinical research and lifted for 22 years.Thousands of hours lifting weights.
Edit.Looking back through your questions you constantly repeat yourself and never select a best answer. This is the last you'll hear from me...

You'll only end up straining yourself besides your muscle tends to grow when you give it a break. The idea is to stimulate it to grow not kill it.
