i'm sudying electrical engineering and i've been asked to find information about the BSI but i couldn´t find anything

BSI is the British Standards Institution. It used to set British Standards each of which had a unique BS number, for manufactured goods and manufacturing processes.

Nowadays most of these standards are agreed by the International Standards Organisation (ISO) which has its own numbering system with which British Standards now comply.

Try British Standards Institute. Its LOGO is known as the kite mark.These standards apply to nearly everything we build/make or buy. hope this has been of some use.

These are the guys that give oute kite marks CE markings and ISO/ISE or BS numbers saying that things are basically safe to use try this website
