like what happens when you douch and you are pregnant? does it really cause infertility?

no its not bad, but you can't do it as often as you want it.
try not to douch when you are pregnant.
i don't think it causes infertility though.

Unless we are talkng PURE WATER ONLY douching. You should enver ever douche unless told to do so by your doctor.
Douching kills the "friendly bacteria" that help cleanse our female parts, messes with the natural PH of the delicate skin in that area, allowing unfriendly bacteria and fungus, to grow.
Not even after your period.
NEVER.
It seriously messes you up, and it is very very hard to get things back to normal.
HOWEVER, no it doesn't cause infertility, it won't automatically make you miscarry. Your baby is protected by an amniotic sac, the sac is protected by the uterus and cervix, the small hole in the cervix is plugged up with a big ball of mucous. I wouldn't try it however. Scince the douche is being pushed up into you with FORCE, it could loosen your plug.

Douching washes away the natural bacteria inside the vagina, causing potential problems and health risks. For example, yeast tend to over-grow, thus causing a yeast infection. There are many more examples. The vagina will naturally cleanse itself, thus being the most healthy option.

they always say it is bad, plus i'd be too embarrassed to buy that in the store anyway! i don't know anything about pregnancy & douche but i highly doubt it causes infertility but it couldn't be good for the fetus.

Douching was designed to clean out the female reproductive system. If you are pregnant, douching should not be done unless you are trying to miscarriage.

yes, douche is always bad. it kills the good bacteria in our bodies. DO NOT douche when you are pregnant!!!

you're not supposed to douche because your body does the job of flushing out things that dont need to be there.
but its okay to use after your menstrual to flush out and residual mucous and/or blood.

no you shouldnt douch when you are pregnant, however you should after infections and periods. but that is about it and you should take care of your self in that way.
