Take these two Homeopathic Remedies ARNICA 200 and RHUS TOX 200 thrice on the first day and after that just once a day till you are feeling 100% better or take it every hour till you start feeling relief after that just once a day will be enough till 100% cure. Nothing works better trust me and totally without any side effects or complications.
Take Care and God Bless.

This probably wasn't the best place to post -- neither medication is "alternative." But anyway, it depends on your injuries. Muscle relaxers do just that -- relax the muscles. So if you pulled neck muscles, etc in the accident, they should be most effective.
Vicodin works by altering your brain's perception of pain -- the pain is still there, but you won't care as much. This is better for bruising, broken bones, etc.
You can also take these two medications together, but not if you have to have your faculties!

I was taking Vicodin for pain and it does help with the pain but it made me sick and dizzy. If I take the Vicodin I take it at bedtime when I am not moving or up and about. I would try a muscle relaxant and that is what I am going to ask my doctor about because I have a fractured tailbone.

I would be very careful in using Vicodin because that's a prescriptive pain medication and is the main cause of pill addiction because it's being used incorrectly and going over dosage that the doctor prescribes. Muscle relaxants are not that good either. If you can try to bear as much of the pain as you can because overusing pain meds can alter your body's natural way of dealing with pain. Only take it if you're needing to sleep through the night, but try to get through it as much as possible naturally. I know what it feels like to be in pain I am still feeling the effects of a car wreck I had 3 years ago and I get headaches and I still get physical reactions to this day and it's hard, but I am getting better without overusing pain meds. Go to this website and ask the nurse who runs it what you can do naturally to deal with your physical pain.

Muscle relaxer would be better, in my opinion. Vicodin makes me too tired and sick to my stomach. Ibuprofen is a great pain reliever because it also reduces inflamation. See if you can pair it up with the muscle relaxer.

A doctor controlled combination of both will affectively manage your pain for you, your muscle relaxers (flexiril, xanaflex, skelaxin, etc) should usually be taken at night before bed, just make sure your regement is doctor prescibed, and not self medicated as the vicodin is highly addictive...

vicodin is mainly for pain. muscle relaxors do what they say.. relax muscles. if you were in an accident you are probably going to want to use vicodin for pain relief. I was in one 3 weeks ago and that is what they prescribed for me.

Go to the drug store and get some melatonin, and some msm. Melatonin will help you relax and msm is a muscle repairer. They are all natural products. You can pick them up at the drugstore.
