Long distance relationships don't work. In order for a relationship to prosper, there must be emotional and physical intimacy at least 3-4 days per week. Don't do it! The rule should be to date someone no more than 60-minute travel time from your home.

Sure if you want no body contact , you can pretend by conversing on the phone but a true relationship needs lots of body contact to grow stronger.I used to be in a long distance relationship we ended up married had to have that body contact.

My boyfriend (of 5 yrs.) and I started out as a long distance relationship. For the first two years, we only saw each other on weekends, without fail. Then, he moved near me, and it seems like we see even less of each other! LOL! I guess It depends on the situation, but if its any consolation, for me it worked.

absolutely... but ( that should be a big BUT),, , you do need to visit each other alot,, or eventually live together. long distance is ok, but only for a time..
my husband and i did long distance, but only for a year. we'd frequently visit, etc,, and then moved in together.
giving the long distance relationship a chance was the best decision ive ever made..

Yes, but I think its going to be even more challenging (because of the distance) than it would be if you were dating someone who lives in closer proximity to you.
