Yes for many reasons....the legendary actors, the drama, romance, costumes, etc. This is the movie that makes movies & somehow I think a lot of our new movies have lost it.

Yes it is. Since I saw it as a kid I found it really amazing. Rhett Buttler was my favorite character, through is arrogance he was always right about the politics. The dresses that Scarlette wore were breath taking. It is a great film, and I would have to say of all time.

I like The Notebook better. A lot of people who have a hard time with understanding true love and the value of it is can learn from it.

No, good yes. The thing I hated most about it was they made it seem rape was OK, when Rhett was drunk and took Scarlet against her will, then the next day she seemed happy about it! That sends a bad message, rape is never OK!
