No, it's not because (necessarily) you have daddy issues.
It's normal. It's just right now it's considered "icky" by our society, though. Nobody would have thought a thing about it 20 years ago or all through human history up to this point. It not only makes sense for women to be attracted to secure, stable (in other words, older) men.....it makes evolutionary sense as well when it comes to child-rearing. This is a perfectly normal attraction that right now most women will not admit they naturally have, because it's just not popular or fashionable at the moment.
Right now, everybody thinks it's so great that Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are together, even though they have a child out of wedlock and busted up a family over it. But at the same time they think it's awful that Tom Cruise and Kate are together. The ages, though, and the age differences, are about the same. We're only paying attention to what's fashionable, and what's fashionable right now is a younger man with a much older woman. Other way around......and you supposedly have "issues". I beg to differ (*and so does human history, by the way*).

There is nothing wrong with liking older guys. I think it shows maturity in your case... maybe you're not attracted to the guys your age because you are so much more mature than they are.
Anyway, we all have qualities that we are attracted to, as well as qualities that we are repelled by, in any potential mate. Or even friends. One of those qualities that attracts you happens to be that the guy is older. So what? There are probably a lot of girls your age that are attracted to older men, and are ashamed to admit it.
Don't sweat it. It doesn't mean that you are perverted, or crazy, or that there is anything wrong with you. Enjoy your crushes, and if you meet someone available that you are attracted to, and he's attracted to you, too, go for it, regardless of his age. Just enjoy your life, and don't worry about the details. :)

Nicole,
It could be due to many things, you mentioned the "daddy" thing, this could be due to a lack of male attention in your younger years. There is also the possiblity of the more relaxed nature of a mature male, maybe you find immaturity unatractive? The cause isn't something to be concerned about EVERYONE has there own indivdual tastes in the companions, just as long as it is not abusive or dependent, you should be fine...

That is not so weird...
Look at Hugh Hefner and all his girlfriends..
Many smart good looking young girls view "Trophy Wife"
as a great long term career move...and justifiably so....
Older men are much more powerful and offer security and comfort.
It could be "daddy issues" but more likely it is not...

I wouldn't think so. I like older guys as well... I am kind of on the young side. I guess that it would depend on how much older than you that you are actually talking about. Please be sure to let me know a.s.a.p! Remember... I now have a boyfriend that is 21 and in college on and off. I mean... he goes to college, but only on certain days and all. I see him at his job everyday he is there and get to hang with him and talk. Please be sure to contact me soon!
Good Luck! TTYL!
Sincerely,

I think the problem is that you had to many boyfriends and all of them didnt know how to treat you right and dont know what love is
so that is why you like older guys.
older guys are more mature and have more experience its normal, dont worry you will find the right one sooner or late

Yes. Were you close to your father? Do you idolize him? Did you get enough or too much attention from him? Examione your relationship with him and you will most likely find your answer.

I think you are looking for men with more stability and who know where they are going in life...however be careful and do not just look for those qualities...you could miss a guy near your age who would be great for you.
