We are compelled to by society since our culture is based on capitalism. Per Capita etc.. a very consumerism driven society. To buy a a lot of things that are not necessarily needed. Going shopping is like a drug. It makes you feel good to spend money temporarily I guess. I don't know why. Takes us away from the reality of our lives. You could have a garden for example. And get herbs and veggies food like that. (If you had ever been able in the past to "go shopping" for land.) There are other things we could fashion for ourselves but don't. I don't really know what you mean by is this a good idea. Is there that much of a choice? Not with me beyond the very basics. I don't know how to make shoes or clothes. I can't create toilet paper. Brewing beer just takes to long. Its all about the quick fixes.

I have an obsession for finding trends. I buy what I like, and what is pretty much based on the standard of the fashion trends at the time. Many times, I do buy junk (as I am told by the parents), however it's my junk, and I like it, and I don't really care what anybody thinks basically. Many times I can go overboard and splurge on expensive clothing, shoes, and accessories. Lately I like hitting thrift shops, because I found some designer jeans for under 5 bucks each, and also I'm really into buying antiques there too, in which I sell at auction etc.

I love fashion and consider myself an eclectic classis fem. I'm always looking for something sexy, hot, comfy, unique and sometimes even risque. Therefore I love to shop. I enjoy shopping equally with someone and also alone. It's cool to see what everyone is wearing, showing and buying. Although fashion should not be too serious, business is business. As a retail fashion grad, it's important to know what is going on in fashion particularily along with other products and services. It is part of our economy and tells alot about us and our world. Finally let's all be honest, its nice to see something you want, to go for it and get it. I also tend to fly home and try or look at my newest contraption or fashion soon after buying it. I actually find trying on clothing that is great on me and sexy, extremely orgasmic. I am a typical women- "I love to shop and I wear it well." This is one of the heavens on earth, and oh yes, it's a great idea and truly satisfying for this babe!
