Both onion and skin cells have pretty much the same organelles. However, onion cells (like all plant cells) have a rigid cell wall. They also may have chloroplasts for photosynthesis. Click the site below. It has a fantastic cell structure interactive. It should give you all of your answers.

Skin cells do not have cell walls, they have a round shape.
