They do need to learn English first. As far as citizenship goes I believe you have to live here 5 years and then wait 6 months for the entire process to go through. Citizenship is not something just like that give it to them. I myself am in the mid of that process. Citizenship of a country is showing them that you stand by them and you oath to them not to back down when the time comes. So yes I think you should have to wait a period of time before getting that done. Unless you have other pressing things!

I think that since America is an English speaking country and has been for years until the flood gates between Mexico and the US were opened. I think that it is only more that fair to learn the language before coming. The European countries will not let you take a job unless you are fluent in that country's language. I think that those that can not and will not learn the language be sent back and if found again in the States be taken to a deserted island forever.

Immigration sucks donkey dick. Myself and my husband have been in an immigration battle for the last 3 years and we've just been rejected again because "Immigration" doesn't think our relationship is genuine and continuing. We've been married for almost 5 years!!! Immigration are a bunch of idiots

respect my opinion.
no, they come here to work for ther families, trying to make a better life for themselves. waiting four years living in a crappy one bedroom apartment with no hot water, just to get some paper to work here? noooooooo
learn english first? no, they need to work first to pay for english classes.
i know they must respect the U.S. , but c'mon , FOUR YEARS!!
