Replaced CMP, CKP, TIming Chain, Distributor has been aligned to No 1 Cyl TDC

New CMP, New CKP, aligned Distributor to Cyl 1 TDC/compression stroke... I have the GM Manual and I've gone through the flowcharts, whats the possibility my PCM may be on the fritz? I've also pinned out the sensor wiring from the harness to the sensor connector, all is well. The flowcharts make me think that I'm simply dealing with a bad HO2S because it kicks like a stubborn mule, and I was also thinking that the HO2S is making the mixture too lean thus giving me my stutter problems. I used my scanner and in the I/M mode I watched the O2 readings and O2 sensor 2 was steady at 800mV and the fuel rail was in a closed loop state. Does that help at all?

you are 180 dredges out on your timing Aline ever thing again then turn the motor over by hand 2 times and see if ever thing lines up it will be my bet that the cam is out by 1 turn

Possible Causes Setting Conditions
CMP sensor is loose causing a variation in the sensor signal
Excessive free play in the timing chain and gear assembly
Incorrectly installed distributor - 1 tooth off in either advance or retard positions will cause this trouble code to set.
Distributor rotor is loose on the distributor shaft
Distributor hold down bolt is loose or missing
Perform the Camshaft retard offset test procedure
Ignition module has failed

Using a scan tool, check the cam retard value and adjust as needed to get cam retard of 0 +- 2 degrees.

What about unhooking the battery and clearing the codes for 15 minutes and see if they come back when it's hooked up again.
It works on big trucks anyway

I agree 100% with TonynNC ... the camshaft retard must be within +- 2 degrees of 0... it is a very sensative adjustment.if its not just right .. the code sets.
