so there's a girl in one of my classes i kinda like. after class, i was walking into another building and felt someone behind me. it was her, but i didn't know how far back the person was and looked up to tell. she was a bit behind me, not too far, prob half a yard away. so i decided i better hold the door, if i had just looked up at her and went on, i woulda seemed like a kind of ***, right? so i waited for her but she started to run to catch up. when i got there, i don't know why i felt too shy to talk to her. was this an awkward moment or just me being polite?

I absolutely love when people hold the door for me and out of pure instinct and NOTHING more, I will speed up in walking or run a little to catch the opened door. It's human instinct but either way, it is MUCH appreciated at ALL times!
Don't ever feel too shy to talk to her. Say hi and get to know her a bit. You don't ever want to live with regrets and wonder what if.

Its cool to hold the door for some one. It shows you got some class and you were raised proper. She may recognize this.You'll see her again. Give talking to her another shot. She may remember you.
