I'm a foreigner who got into the States not too long ago. I'm just wondering if I could convert my license to the US license, without having to go for a driving test and all? I've recently got my SSN and green card. Where do I go to get a driver's license?

i doubt you can get a u.s. license without taking the test. you might be able to get away with only the written test. most states are pretty snooty about taking their test. it's really just a way to get $$ out of you. just go to the dmv website for your state. there should be a section for license requirements regarding foreign driver's licenses.
