I think that Harry Potter will be the last horcrux and may have to kill himself.

Nope. I think I remember reading somewhere that a person CANNOT be a horcrux. Also, making a horcrux would involve doing a spell over a murder and Harry's murder was supposed to be the last one. V was almost killed when his AK spell backfired. He would have been too weak to perform any magic after that. He did not kill Harry, so therefore there was no murder over which to make a horcrux....

Ooooh! And it just hit me!!!!! OMG, why didn't I think of this before?

Okay, the item that was supposed to be made into a horcrux was dropped at Harry's house. Maybe he was able to make it from the murder of Lily or James.....And I wonder if, in his weakened state, V didn't drop the horcrux there at Godrics's Hollow....I'll bet Harry finds it in the wreckage of his parent's home......whatever it is.

I thought that at first, too, but now that I've thought about it, I don't see how it's possible. Voldemort wants SO BADLY to have hoarcruxes to keep him alive forever, and he has gone to such lengths to protect the hoarcruxes. Why would he want Harry as a hoarcrux, when from the moment Harry was born, Voldemort wanted to destroy him?

I DO think Harry might have to give up his life, but for a different reason. Something stumped Voldemort on the night of Lily and James's deaths, and I think it was the way Lily was willing to give up her life for love, and this is what did Voldemort in. Rowling is a big fan of Narnia, and in the Narnia series, Aslan invokes the "deeper magic" by giving up his life for a traitor. I think that if Harry willingly gives up his life to save Malfoy (or Snape?), that Voldemort will be utterly defeated.

No way. Voldemort himself is the final horcrux. Besides, didn't the prophecy say that "One must die by the other one's hand, for neither can live while the other survives"? Harry can't die by his own hand to kill Voldemort.

i thought of that too, but it doesn't really make sense..this whole time Voldy's been wanting to kill harry, and WHY in the world would he put his "protection" in the hands of someone who has many enemies, and could die at any time? harry is pretty big target..... if i separated MY soul into 7 pieces, hell if i would hide it in someone i wanna get rid of! i'd put it in things no one would find anywhere u know? it would be "clever" for one second, and then it would be really "stupid" =T to have harry be the horcrux

interesting theory. that might make sense. i think maybe he'll get all the horcrux and then kill voldemort and himself. it'll be like a heros death but really sad. :(

Impossible. Harry Potter will have to kill Voldemort, and may die doing it, but he's not a horocrux.

eewww, why did you say that?!?!?! i don't even want to think that way ; ) i can understand your point but.... can a horcrux be saved in a human without their knowledge? i remember just having read and possibly him putting on in nagini but he didn't like it. the professor what's his name wasn't the horcrux from the start but came into him after.
can you tell i'm trying to rationalize away that scary thought!!!!!

wow, thats an ollllllllddddddd theory. i thought of it myself. yes he probably is, but....guess what? maybe there will be some way he survives in the end. it will be a waste for him to die after he defeated voldemort so many times...
