The men who want motherly attention are babies and need to grow up. It probably has something to do with the way they were raised.

I heard a talk about this at a PromiseKeepers convention. Its not a normal family situation, but it is typical. These men have to learn to grow up and stop being momma's boys. Be a good wife and make sure you don't mollycoddle him!!

I think it is part of a wife's job is to help with the maternal attention. A wife is a mom even without kids.

Because mother always pampered and treated son like a little baby (so to speadk), probably did just about everything for him, and heck, what man wouldn't want his wife to do it to?!?!?

Because it makes them feel more secure and safe and protected in the same way they were by mom when they were children.

I'll be darned if I "mother" my husband.
He is my partner and I will support him, encourage him, and help him but "mother" him I don't think so.
