big post that took up the screen but you still didn't answer my question. Why does the democratic party promote dependence, anti-accountability, and victimization forcing the weak to become weaker by depending on others to wipe their ***. Ask yourself who the terriorist would vote for if you can put your hands down long enough from taking handouts, blameing the "lucky" rich, and tearing the country apart making us the laughing stock of the world.

Because the Liberal Democratic machine doesnt think people can think for themselves. They buy votes by promising more welfare and hand outs. the paint a picture that " we will tax the rich and not the poor", but the so called poor dont understand that any Company that pays taxes, passes that on to the people who buy their products. Imagine that, the people who spend money pay those taxes.
I can see helping people get on their feet, but we have third and fourth generations of welfare families and they dont know or want to work. I say, give them welfare, but make them work 40 hours a week for it. Picking up trash in the county, working and doing labor in the country they live, 40 hours per week, or you dont get your check.

This is an example of what is called a "loaded question." You start with an extremely partisan premise and asky how anyone can possibly disagree with you. Well, the answer is--they disagree with your premise.
Your premise (apparently) is that by feeding hungry Americans and healing sick ones and keeping poor Americans from falling into homelessness the US government is doing something wrong. I would agree that charity can be a double-edged sword, but I would also say the price of no charity is simply too great. Once the New Deal was established, the US stopped having the violent reactions to economic downturns which characterized "pure" free markets. The welfare state softened the worst blows of poverty, preventing most people from becoming desperate--and hence, dangerous. Predictions that generation after generation would simply twiddle their thumbs on public assistance have proven to be utterly false. When the economy does badly, more people join welfare. When it improves--THEY GET OFF WELFARE. Very few remain on public assistance for very long, and those that do are usually permanently disabled.
Methinks not allowing Americans to die on the street is a good thing. That welfare can and should be reformed is no great statement--almost anything can be improved. But the extreme position that to feed the hungry and treat the sick is somehow a wrong thing to do is not a premise with which most Americans agree.
I am, for the record, very proud of being American.

Frankly, there is no political party trying to inspire American individuals to self-sufficiency, nor are they trying to make it easier for them to do so. We live in a greedocracy and this fact is the heart of a decaying democracy. Until we have a populist revolt - fully democratic and capitalist - we will continue to decay at an ever accelerating pace.

Most Americans believe democrats handle the economy and health care better than republicans. Bush has an incredibly low approval rating. Democrats didn't create the awful mess that is the Iraq war. Democrats didn't lose control over Afghanistan. Democrats didn't increase the national debt to over a trillion dollars.

I believe it's all part of the "I want you to like me, so I give you money , drugs, and anything else that is not essentially vital for your existence as long as you continue to pop out illegitimate children."
Deep down, I think the Democrats just want to be loved. Go find one and give 'em a hug. But keep an eye on your wallet. They might give it to a homeless person or something.

Only the Republicans have the power to cause wallowing today since they own and control everything. More people are wallowing today than during the Clinton Administration.

If you give a man a fish, how do you expect him to learn how to catch one? But if you throw a rod af a man and berate him to start fishing, he'll likely starve to death. What in the hell makes you think your way is any better than their way?
Why do dumb-assed Neocons think that getting rid of social welfare (not government, that's good) is the panacea to get rid of the lower class?

You are wrong. The democratic party does not MAKE anyone wallow in helplessness and pity and wait for handouts.
Just because the democrats are willing to help a person to sit on their butts waiting for handouts, doesn't force a person to do so.
The democrats just make it easy for them.

why did Jesus help the poor... he's apparently a fool, since they should be helping themselves and he was just being a crutch to them?
everyone is not in a position to help themselves... you have had much help to become the person you are today... some were not as lucky... I feel sorry for you that you don't know how lucky you are and I fear God may show you by making you fall...
