Sweetie, you did the right thing by sticking up for her and you definitely don't have to take monkey-girl's crap. Stand your ground. Girls like that eventually get what they have coming to them. Ten years from now monkey-girl is going to be fifty pounds overweight and flipping burgers at McDonald's. Trust me.

Well, I'm glad someone is standing up for those who stick out.
God made everyone special; we have no right to judge or make fun of those who are different.
The way I see it, you should continue your stand for this girl. You won't do well with the "popular" people, but people will notice and respect you for this. You may even make a good friend, because they see you and they think, "This person is unselfish- that's the kind of friend I want." And those who think that are the kind of people you should hang out with.
They aren't the only ones who will notice- God sees everything that you do, good or bad. Keep that in mind the next time you are faced with the decision of snubbing or defending someone! He'll reward you for making the right choice.

You were doing the right thing standing up for the other girl, though it isn't required of you.

However, it IS required of you to stand up for yourself. They may give you trouble now, but, they'll shove you around and make you feel worse if you just keep quiet.

What you should do is what you feel is the RIGHT thing to do. God smiles on those who help the ones who can't seem to help themselves. Stick to your morals and don't let them push you around.
