Does anyone know anything about laws regarding a Texas divorce trial?

I'm in a divorce and the judge ordered my children to be placed in a home with a child and wife abuser. at the time this decision was made I didn't have any evidence to prove it. The decision was made about 7 months ago. Can I enter this new evidence? If so how do I request that the judge reverse his initial decision? Is it likely that he will, seeing that I don't have evidence that they are in danger at this particular time? Any help or advice would be appreciated if it's sincere advice.

You can ask for a re-trial. Thats in view of the new evidence. Or did your lawyer ask for an appeal? But Im not a lawyer so the best person to talk about this is a lawyer. Good Luck
