I have Verizon Wireless and I've been eligible for a new phone for a while now, but can't find any phones in the stores I like. I've literally gone in a couple times a month for the past year to see what they have. I like Verizon's service and it seems to have the best reputation, but I seem to like the Cingular phones my friends have way better. I've had good experience with Samsung and bad experience with Motorola. Any suggestions on SMALL, reliable phones with extremely efficient features that are compatible with Verizon? No camera necessary. Also, if "unlocked" phones are an option, how does one go about getting one?

Well, I am totally with you on the Motorola thing, I have a Moto E815 annd it was Horrible, and I went throught two because they both had a "software" issues to whre when I plugged it in it turned of the phone.
SAMSUNG A930
I like Samsung too, I am on them as well as both of my Parents, and we all love them, I have the a930, a newer phone for samsung, for about 50 dollars, but if you want it small, small, you dont want this one, I mean, it is small, but not the RAZR.
SAMSUNG SCH-A870
Now this phone is cool looking, but I did not think you cared about price, so I would chose a better one, but again, it is only 30 dollars.
Nokia 6215i
I just like this phone becuase my sis has it and she LOVES it.
Well, that is alot of stuff, but I like the a930 best, because I have not broken it yet, and that is a thumbs up, I like sat on it and it is just fine.
Anyway, what you said about "Unlocked" does not apply to verizon at all, only nextels and people with SIMS card do that, so dont even give that a second thaught.
I hope I heve helped, Please do not hesitate to E-mail (bwcool202@yahoo.com) or AIM (mrbw202).

Motorola really are great phones. The Razor is cool. We have a couple of Samsung camera phones from Verizon.
Cingular sucks around Minneapolis.

I even have Verizon and that i take advantage of the ENV2 and prefer it. It has the finished keyboard, micro SD card, MP3 participant, front keypad. I did get one for my daughter, she loves hers however the front keypad is dying, some keys do no longer artwork. she will nevertheless use all the keys on the indoors kbd. She is somewhat harsh on telephones, her Chocolate II purely lasted about6 months. one component in case you get the env2 and are texting: first key to push is the hot line key, next to the L key. there is not any rapid thank you to get to the tip of a line different than pushing impressive key again and again. a minimum of in case you do this trick you are able to press down then left to get to the tip of the previous line. I even have been searching for the "end" key and that's all i could desire to arise with. different con is the digicam has no flash. in any different case great telephone!

Cingular has better service. Your calls will never get dropped, and they have better plans. I suggest going to your local Radio Shack. They have plans on Cingular that are very reasonable!
