What I mean to say is, if you likedyour best friend as more than a friend would you risk making things extremely awkward just to find out if they feel the same way about you? I suppose asking complete strangers will get me honest answers... hopefully...

If you think your feeling is true take the risk. Wouldn't it be unfair to you if you'll forever be asking the "what if's"? Who knows you might get lucky. And if ever you don't at least you know what you are up against.. Take the risk. IF your feeling is true it'll be worth it.

Tell him but first explain that you don't want things to be weird between the two of you and you still want to be best friends.
I had to do this with my best guy friend last year...all worked out well!

If you truly think that there is something more that what you two are currently showing, then go for it and throw your bull into the ring. The only thing that will happen is your friend will know that you truly care for them.
