Hi sweety i am 21 to let you know and my neighbors daughter is having the same problem she is 12 and has had the problem for the past year and no period. First do not wear a pad unless very heave=y get a panti liner. Very thin and more comfortable ttrust me pads when first start out make you feel uncomfortable not only physically but mentally because you could be afraid that some one will see or notice and you will get picked on dont let that bother you. Believe it or not i remember my first period. If you dont cramp it is normal some adults dont cramp at all till after child birth and after that they still dont. If you cramp that is narmal 2. Best ting for you to do is to talk to your mom she has been there and an open relation ship is the best cause she is your best friend whether you knowit or not. If not you can talk to me a lot of the localgirls do somethimes it is easier when you are typing rather than taling face to face. Do not steal pads though trust issue with parents. Ask an adult like a aunt, or older sister, i asked my older cousin she started when she was eight and i was 11 before i started so even though she is only a few months older she helped a lot if u need me i am here ps i am a mom as well if that helps and a mentor

Sounds like it to me. You are probly just irregular. Wear a pad tomorrow and see what happend. I bet it will be off and on so wear one for a couple of days just in case. I hope I helped. Remember have a happy period with always. Also tell your mom. If you are embarrassed tell her in a email. That is what I do.

I had my first period at 9. As I remember, it was very short and not much of anything. It was like that for almost the first year. I took my mom's pads, too. I was afraid to tell her. Who would have thought that I would start that young? When I did, she cried. "My baby's becoming a woman!"

It could be. It depends on your age and whether or not you've ever had a period or sex before. Often when a girl starts for the first time, it can be spotty and irregular. Sex, especially for the first time can also cause bleeding. So can some STD's.

It could be several things. If it is your first period, maybe. If you had sex the night before, it may be. It could be breakthrough bleeding, which sometimes occurs around ovulation. If it was only a little bleeding, don't worry about it.

well it depends if it is your 1st time ever getting your period. do you play any sports or did you do anything really physical that day? if you did that could be a sigh that you broke your hymen...which many girls do if they are really physical with sports and stuff. but you should tell your mom any way she would want to know.

I think it is about time you had a talk with your mother. After all, she went through the same thing you are going through and who better to seek advice from?
