How can nationsbe impoverished with a surplus of untapped value (natural resources,labor,and know how balanced by need)? Its like a casino telling rich people that gambling cannot take place because there are no more chips. As an economic system capitalism is a dismal failure! It tricks people out of their true value. Once money was established as the means of exchanging value ,those who controlled its creation simply gaveit to themselves thruogh a sophisticated legal fiction called financing and used it to establish ownership of resources without giving any value in return. The foundation of all modern wars is that America prints as much money as they need to manipulate the value in our land while restricting the creation of money in the countries of those they intend to oppress.

I think FDR said it best when he took us deeper and deeper into debt in order to jump start us out of the great depression: He said "We owe it to ourselves". Which is true. So if all of the people who hold government bonds held a bonfire, then the debt would be no more. Debt is just a means to share wealth, and it works far better than socialism, I think. What is your alternative plan? Winston Churchill once said, "Democracy is a very BAD form of government. The trouble is that all the alternatives are so much worse!" OK, maybe I might agree with you that Capitalism is a failure, but I think we have to add that all of the alternatives are so much worse.

So where has comunism worked?
Capitalizm is the only system that has moved man forward. Its the only system that has given the little guy a shot at the american dream. Have you noticed I said "American dream"? What is the soviet dream? Or the chinnese dream? Or the Iran dream? Or the Mexican dream (other than to sneak into america)?
So if america is so bad, why is every one in a hurry to get here?
What are the other nations offering?
IF you think this country is so evil, where would you rather be? Jane fonda protested for north vietnam. Why doesn't she live there? Why doesn't she raise her kids there? So where is your utopia?
