i have a deaf quadriplegic child (16 mos). we don't know if she is blind yet or not, but it's very possible.
i'm making her a soft blanket and some other fleecey clothes. i figure she will love the feel of the fabric.
we are also getting her some other toys that focus on touch (have different textures).

Well if he was mute instead of quadriplegic, you could get him a Pinball Machine.
