A Rooster is quite reliable if you only want to get up at sunrise. as the seasons change so will the time you get up. If the rooster pisses you off one morning you can always eat him.

I wouldn't purchase one - someone is bound to want to get rid of one and would give it to you - I bet the rooster would get pretty annoying - but then again you might enjoy chasing it around trying to get it to shut up! (I wonder if they have snooze buttons?)
