Having wandered so long they must now realise that they are better equipped to handle a tennis tournament rather than football, what with their great backhanders and that!!

They were originally called Bolton Wanderers becase they had no Home Ground of thier own to play out of. So then in effect wandered from ground to ground for ther matches. This was in the days of old, but the name must have stuck.
