How would you like your windows to be treated?

Venitian Blinds, vertical blinds, shutters or drapes?

if other, what would be another good one.

I go for the easy way. I like a clean look. Get something that is easy to keep clean. Window treatments collect a lot of dust.

If you get drapes, try to get washable drapes without those yucky pinch pleats. Vertical blinds are nice and only need to be dusted. They will eventually become brittle, but nothing lasts forever. Shutters are usually outside aren't they? I do not have much experience with shutters. I have never seen real pretty Venetian Blinds.

Right now I have drapes that have "tap tops." They just go right over the decorative rod. These are great except that you have to open and close them by pulling on the drapes (rather than a cord) and that is a hassle when they are behind large furniture.

I have never found the perfect window treatment.

Depends on where you live (style...) but I like faux wood blinds.
The faux is cheaper than real wood, but durable
