I think a line backer is who sacks the quater back. Ok there is this guy in my grade (junior high) and he is so FINE!!!! Muscular all those things and a Jock. But anyway my friend and I got someone to ask him what position he plays in football. Thats what he said. I want to know exactly what their job is!

It's fullback. He lines up between the quarterback (the guy who gets the ball to start every play) and the tailback (or "running back" or "halfback"). The fullback's job usually is to block for the running back. He'll run through whichever hole the running is supposed to run through and will try to block - ironically - linebackers.

A linebacker is someone who lines up behind the defensive linemen (the guys up on the line of scrimmage). Their job usually is to A.) run out to cover a receiver, B.) run toward/through the defensive line to go after the QB, or C.) run to the defensive line to try to stop the running back (who at your grade level often has a fullback trying to open the way for him).

Hope that helps. ... And don't be afraid to just ask the guy yourself. In case you haven't figured it out yet, guys love talking about themselves, especially when it pertains to football!

First off its full back, and his job is power his way down the middle. Most typically bigger than your half back and smaller , but much more powerful. He will get you the short gains you need to get first downs, and the short gains you need to power it into the endzone.
A linebacker is a defensive back. His job is versatile. He can fall back and cover the pass, he can rush and attempt to sac the quarter back, or he can stay in the zone and contain a quick and agile quarterback.

A full back runs the ball, a linebacker is on defense and hurts the running backs

U mean full back?

also a linebacker has alot of jobs. Our linebacker usualy goes downhill to the ball runner or usualy has the 3 back.
Witch is usualy the fullback. Well for us it is. But that is the middle linebacker. there is also outside linebackers.

I think you mean full back.He runs the ball every now and then and generally leads/blocks for the Hallf Back.Example:LaMont Jordan is the Half Back for the Raiders(I know they suck GAWD) and Zack Crockett is the Full Back.

a full back job is short yardage runs or protection for quarterback or lead blocking for tailback. linebacker job is the opposite. his job is pass rush, tackling that sort of thing
