I recently got out of the Air Force after serving four years. I have proudly served in the Middle East, along with many of my military friends of all branches. We believe in the war on terrorism, and focus on all the positive events that rarely get broadcasted by our liberal media. Every time that I have heard a negative comment about Bush or the War on Terrorism... it hurts. Liberals so passionately hate our President, our Government, and anything that has to do with what has been accomplished by the military, that no matter what Bush does, they will still go on hating. I am starting to believe that they might hate Bush more than terrorists do. I don't think they truly understand how much their hating hurts the troops and what they are fighting for...freedom. I have been struggling with depression ever since I came home from the desert, only because I feel like half of America isn't proud of what I accomplished, and hates the Commander in Chief that I have come to admire so much.

I do "take a good look around" every day, but...sorry, I just don't see and conservatives hating like liberals do. I guess it is because they don't hate themselves.

I hope all the liberals that look at this question, also look at some their fellow liberals comments. I have even had one liberal say "go do something positive for America, prove them wrong." What type of person could say that to a veteran? I'll let you answer that.

THANKYOU FOR SERVING!!!!!!!!!!! The world owes you a great debt. You are a GREAT AMERICAN. I thank God every day for the brave, courageous and dedicated troops that are making this tremendous sacrifice for all of us.
When we voted President Bush into office, we were voting you in too.
I send you this answer with tears in my eyes. I can't imagine the great pain you feel from this "punch in the gut" from the liberals. Just remember...The louder they get, the more determined we get to keep the house and the senate and the office of President.
There are more of us than them..
We are proud you.
I love you, America loves you and God loves you

Well, what can i say? we are very critical of our President's failed domestic, and especially, foreign, polocies. It's the facts that you can't dispute. A lot has been done in the wars, but not enough. And to be honest, most of the population are starting to realize that at this rate, not enough will ever be done.
I love America, and i always have. There are some postives from Bush, but the negatives far exceed it. And you would see this for yourself if you went on several sources. (just not Fox News)
I love and support our troops because they are doing what they are told and they truly love this country as much as any of us. But, we liberals have just had the last straw with Bush's political views.

I can not prove this but I think this vendetta of hate by the liberals began shortly after the 2000 election when GW won after the recount in Florida. I think the flames are, and have been flamed by the extreme left wing and their blogs and the use of the media. Now, they have "painted themselves in a corner" so to speak and are actually hoping for our country to have more terrible things happen so they can say,"see, I told you. JUST AN OPINION THAT I HAVE NO PROOF OF.

Thank you for your service to this country and for keeping those I love safe at night. Because you were in the military you have seen the very best this country has to offer, nothing deserves more respect and honor then our service men and women. We can not stop their hate but we can take comfort that so many men and women still volunteer to serve this country and defend those who do not support them ,and even speak out against them, because they are AMERICAN'S.

It all began with a stolen election in 2000. It went rapidly down hill after that. Bush is not qualified, has no intellectual curriosity, and in my opinion is not entitled to the office he holds.
Beyond this, he is a domestic and foreign policy disaster.
Now, does this mean I have any less than respectful feelings towards you ? No. I just accept that others are wired differently than I am. You will learn that a few conservatives are having second thoughts about Bush too now.

1st of all,Thank you for serving our country!!! As far as liberals go,just remember that they are a minority group in this country.Unfortunately they are a great majority in the news media,so they get a lot of notice because of that. They are the "squeaky wheel"that gets attention. In reality, they are a group of people who have no common sense or moral values. The men whom I have talked to, that served in the middle east, have had the same concerns as you.Don't despair because Bush is right, terrorism is wrong,we have no attacks on us in 5 years, and let's keep fighting those radical bastards,in their country!!And remember this about liberals...I'm borrowing this from a local talk show...They stand on their heads and tell the rest of the world that it's they who are upside down!!

All of our troops believe in this war and in Bush, which is why they choose to enlist. Just remember Liberals are a small minority here and the rest of us is proud of what you have done.Look at their reaction to what an evil dictator said today, that should have ALL Americans pissed.Instead, Liberals celebrate it. Tell me btw, do you believe these fools when they say they support the troops but not the war, while they are burning a flag?
Well, thanks for your service, and don't let the cowardly left get you down. Lot more of us than them,If all else fails,.. shoot them.
God Bless

I do not believe that you just got out of the military. This is totally made up to make Democrats look bad. Won't work sister..or brother, whatever you are. This post is a lie, by a madeup person.
I am sick and tired of everytime someone disagrees or gives an diferent opinion then the right wingers and king george, that they are called traitors or haters. You may have been in the service but you need to go back to school and read and learn about the American Constitution, cause you most certainly know NOTHING about the democracy this country was founded on. And you opinion about the war or anything else, is just that..YOUR own opinion. I can find dozens that also served that disagree with Iraq and king bush. Just b/c you so-called served, prob in a kitchen, does not mean your opinion has more weight then anyone elses. How self righteous you are.

I am proud of our country, what it stands for and grateful for your service to this country.
Hating is easy. It requires no thought.
I find it an interesting social commentary that many of those who participate in this forum do not realize, or perhaps choose to ignore the fact that no one's Presidency has been defined as having been good or bad in a contemporary temporal plane. It is only from the perspective of history that one can determine whether a Presidency was effective, or correct.
You may not be aware of it, as many are not, that there are many more than 50% of the people in this, and other nations who do believe in what the finest of our younger people are trying to accomplish in the Middle East.
Most are long on rhetoric and woefully lacking in activity, taking the course of least resistance and climbing aboard that "Gee, I'm so smart I can hate Bush" wagon and getting the fuzzy, warm feeling from putting out the blind diatribe and wallowing in the mire of vehemence so present in these pages. It must be terrible to have to resort to this kind of thing for someone to feel as if they "belong" to something.
Perhaps those perveyors of sophomoric commentary really only need an ego boost. How about just going out and kicking a small dog?
God (of your choice) bless you and your brethren.

Sorry, you have been misled. Most Americans, regardless of political affiliation, support our troops. While it is true that many people (over half now) don't support Bush's policies or the Iraq invasion, that has no bearing on our gratitude toward those who serve in our nation's military. Loyalty to a country is distinctively different than loyalty to a politician. Duty to one's country is not the same as duty to one's lobbyists. I think you need to find out the difference for yourself. As my only brother has served in both Gulf Wars, I can say I am quite proud of his service. My opinions about government policy or our political leaders have no bearing on that. If you are fighting for freedom, why stifle that freedom by requiring Americans to support the party/politician of your choosing?
