Television demorilizes the human race, and has been doing so even before M-TV...which was a horrible turning point in television ...today it promotes adultery, fornication, and hypocrisy.
TV does nothing to promote what it did in the 50's! The Christian channels barely has anything on them that people can relate to...at least that is wholesome entertainment...well most of it...If you have a way to watch the first television shows...watch them!
There is no better show on television for raising a child than the town of Mayberry!

What good did 50s TV on marriages for women? It showed that all they were good for was to stay home to cook and clean. They barely had outside jobs and were completly under their husbands' thumbs. While TV today is not the best, it shows women that they can play an equal part in marriage-having the choice if they want to stay home or work. It also does the same for men. More men today are choosing to stay home while the wives are the breadwinners. That wouldn't have been acceptable in the 50s
