actually, try over 400. the 30GB is about 300 (plus tax and all that)
well, if you want it for movies and shows, then i would suggest just saving up the extra 150 for the 60GB cuz you can put a about 50-55 movies (depending on how big the file is, because one movie is usually a little over 1 GB of space) also, the 60GB is better because you get longer playback time.
i have the 30GB and i have a movie. its about 1hr and 35 mins long...once i watch it all, my batterie is about gone. so, i would suggest the 60GB purely for the longer playback time.... but if thats not a factor (say you have a portable charger) then get the 30GB because you can still put quite a few movies/shows onto it.

I bought an Ipod with 30GB, and I can fit a lot of tv shows on it, I have over 40 right now.
But it really sucks for movies. The batteries will probably die out before you can finish a long movie. For forty minute tv shows, you can watch three episodes before the battery dies out, and five 20 minute shows.
The battery life is terrible and the 20 hours battery life that they post on their site is utter nonsense-- I suppose it works for songs.
If you really want it, you can buy it. But it doesn't even look as good as the 30GB one. It's kind of fat, and the new-age ipods don't have that bulky look.
PSP is the way to go if you want to put TV shows or movies. It's really easy to recharge, and the battery life is MUCH better.

That would prabably be a wise investment if you're planning to put movies and tv shows on it. You'll be suprised at how fast you'll use up the space.
