is it badly looked upon? what would a degree in film studies enable me to do in the future, career wise?

It depends on the job you are applying for. Jobs in the media seem an obvious choice. Jobs in healthcare, not so much.

Are you kidding?? I actual have a level in Social technology and im suffering to get a job actual making use of my degree, i think of you're able to decide for something which will actual get you someplace!!!

This is a Mickey Mouse degree, and quite frankly a waste of four years of your education and life.

If you seriously want to get involved in the media in the future, it would be an idea to contact one of the big companies (BBC for example) and ask their advice on what entry qualifications they usually ask for.

Well all the fast food places seem to like it. ;-)

It's probably a leg up if you wanna go into film though

ya highlander was pretty cool, also liked the tv show.

I don't know what employers think, but I have also studied lots of films. I think my favorites are 'Highlander' and 'Shock' a very well made peice of cinematographic pornography. ACE!!!

they don't see it. you would have a very good chance of being unemployed or working in the uci.

you could go the whole hog and do film & philosiphy
