Here is a link to the company the bank I work for sold our secured credit cards to. Orchard bank is one of the top providers of secured credit cards.

Your best bet would be a secured credit card.

Used correctly it can be a sensible way to build up a bad credit rating. However, there are pifalls to avoid especially regarding fees that are payable.

say you deposit $500 into the credit card account,
the card company issues you a credit card with $500 limit.

if you have a rating under 620 then its a little harder but you can go to your local bank and ask for a credit card..
