That, as you've probably gathered by now, would be Sigmund Freud.

Incidentally, he didn't think it was all because of sex; he later came to believe that we are also impelled by an urge towards self-destruction. Check out 'Beyond the Pleasure Principle'. He's a great writer even if you don't always agree with him.

Sigmund Freud...but he should have been called Sigmund Froid or Sigmoond Frigid, 'cause, I mean, ¿was he looking for problems or what? Sex itself shouldn't be a problem...we all know now that sex is not the problem, but the problem is who you have sex with.

yes it was Freud, but don't take him too seriously. A lot of what he said has since been disproved. He was obsessed with sex and was probably trying to explain away his own problems.

Yes, it was Freud. He was the guy with all of the crazy explanations for dreams. Usually it had to do with sex. I say, "Sometimes a dream is just a dream."
