Is it true that everyone, including myself is nuts? (not to be a hypocrite) I have never met a person that I would consider sane, i.e. balanced and healthy. Balance is the key word here, it seems like everyone is this or that, but not all/not balanced.

balance = an open mind, nonjudegemental, experiencing the bounty of life and dealing with the hardships as well, being kind without being a martyr, being for one's self while being for all...?

Free from beleif and EXPERIENCING LIFE, all that we truly know we have? Being?

Just like how perfectionism can drive one neurotic or lead one to a better life, we all have tendencies that can go wrong at some point. Given this, It's true that balance is key.

Just look at any book on psychopathologies: you'd realize you have a pet "disorder" that you resemble the closest. It's all in the way we manage ourselves that prevent us from the impairment or dysfunction or distress that full-blown disorders occur with.

The very idea of normality is a very vague, abstract, almost arbitrary judgment.

Well being that everyone interrupts things differently I have to say yes it is true everyone is nuts in one form or another. What one person thinks is sane another does not that's why no one is truly sane. Besides if we were all sane it would mean we would all have to think the same how boring it would be :-}

I do not know if I would characterize that as being nuts but all we can go on to judge our surroundings is what we have learned thus far through living and we all go through difficult times that leave us changed in certain ways, good or bad...we are all imperfect and flawed...that is just the nature of being human, plain and simple. I think I would rather be flawed than perfect..too much pressure! LOL

I think being different is being normal. If you were happy or angry all the time, that wouldn't be normal. If you know right from wrong and see injustice, you can't help but to judge. It's balance in all things. Experiencing all emotions is what makes us normal.

No 1 is perfectly balanced. Even the experts who r judging us r not balanced. so if we r not and they r not and u r not then what? I wouldn't call us nuts just a typical human with human tendencies.

Everyone is just a little nuts, in one way or another. The most stable, wonderful people I know have their little neuroses, and one of the most giving, generous and loving people I know is diagnosed as schizophrenic. There's no help for it - nobody is normal. If you think you are, you're wrong!

Normal, sane, rational, sensible---------insane, crazy, mad, nuts

Is the world sane? If it is I'd rather be crazy!

Why worry about what someone else thinks, who are "they"?
What did "they" do for you? As long as one loves themselves for who they are and are at peace with themselves, one can be secure with themselves to expericence life in full.

Love, Peace, Faith, Hope and Joy to you
