First off, I'm 22 years old. I'm not fat, nor thin, I think. I'd say around average.. First off, its rude that you are calling them 'fat people' they are overweight. I'm not disgusted towards them, I feel the same way towards an overweight person as I do a normal weight and underweight person. There is to much placed on weight now of days. I would rather look at over weight people all day, than some of the anorexic/bulimic women/men that are around, that is disgusting. I think a larger person can be so beautiful, just as a thin one can. While a large person can be equally as ugly as a thin person. It shouldn't be about size, it should be about personality. Whats on the inside is what really matters. And some of the people that have been answering this question, saying that 'fat people look disgusting because they wear tight clothes'. Not all large people wear tight clothes, the ones who do aren't ashamed of their body. they may not know how to dress or just don't care. Its the same with thin people, some of the clothes they wear are atrocious, they don't look flattering on them, but they wear the clothes, because they think they look good in them. And really, that's all that matters. Everyone needs to stop places so much importance on weight, its only a number.....

I am a fat person.
I think fat people are ugly. I hate fat people because I am one.
I think my life would be a lot better if I was thin. I think I would be popular if I was thin. Boys would like me if I was thin. I think I am all right in everything else except that I am fat. I love shopping but always get depressed because I have to try clothes on and I get depressed.
I have good fashion sense, unlike some thin people who I hate more than fat people- I mean, they can wear whatever they want and look great in it, but they go out dressed so ridiculously. I hate those people. I think it's karma that I'm fat and have good fashion sense, and some people are thin and can barely dress themselves.
I am currently on a diet and have lost nine pounds so far (yay me!!!) but I think I am stuck at nine pounds less. I don't know, I think I'll have to wait another two weeks or so to see how that works out. Lately I've been eating about a thousand calories a day (I have gym every day), but today I had one thousand four hundred because I was at home sick and COULD NOT STOP EATING!!!! And my mother bought a bag of Hershey's Kissables (I both hate her and love her for this) and I had a lot of them (well not a lot-about one serving, which is 39, or about 210 calories. yes I know I am obsessive about this). And I'm kinda sad because I was sick last night also so I couldn't go to swim team.
You might find it odd that a fat person is on a swim team. Well, I do to. But once I get in the water, it's like the water is a blanket covering up everything, and I know that everyone else is swimming so they don't notice my fatness.
So yes that is all about me and being fat. Oh also, I don't wear red or horizontal stripes because they make you look bigger than you are, and I wear jeans every day to school. And I have an odd habit of comparing myself to other fat people, and thinking "I'll never do that." Like wear short shorts (I have a thing about my thighs-my calves I like, I despise my thighs.) Or walk with my toes pointed out. I am basically one big self-improvement project.
Okay, you have heard all about my life related to fatness. I'll go now.

who cares about how much someone weighs, but i do think there is a difference in just being 'chubby' and being 'obese'. if there is a medical problem that causes the 'fat' i tend to feel sorry for the person, if they wish to be smaller. some people who are heavy are comfortable with their weight, and if so, more power to them! for all of those who are fat because they are just lazy and over-eaters, i think it is disgusting, not to mention unhealthy.
as far as being attracted to them, i have to say again, if they are just absolutely obese, absolutely not. as single-minded as that may sound...........chubby or a little heavy i can deal with, but not obese.
i am a 23 year old female who is 5'4", and i weigh 138, so i don;t feel that i am fat. i am very satisfied with my weight, and exactly where it is all at. i feel that it is in all the right places! however, there was a time when i wasn't so lucky....

Depends on the fat person, really. I have a neighbor who is morbidly obese. She is really dynamic and beautiful. I worry about her health. Then there are morbidly obese people, like my grandmother, who are really mean and nasty. She is not beautiful. I don't really worry about her health.
When I was a kid, people used to say how cute and chubby I was. I look at photos and I had a chubby face with a thin body. I grew up with a distorted body image and still, to this day, I think that I am fat even though I am thin. I have to remember that I am thin by looking at my clothes size.
I notice a person's personality and how they carry themselves before I notice their weight. I've always been like that. I once was talking about how my grandmother was morbidly obese to a co-worker and she started getting really defensive and I couldn't figure out why. She then pointed out to me that she herself was morbidly obese. I had seriously never noticed.
Weight affects my life daily. I work every day at letting go the scars from my youth. I now have a daughter who looks like me. Nice full cheeks and a thin body. People say how chubby she is. It makes me sick. I tell them that she is perfect and just the right size for her age. So, my job is to make sure that it doesn't affect her in the way that it affected me. People are so insanely insensitive and stupid.
BTW-- I am 35.

More bounce to the ounce, I'm not fat. I like all kinds of people no matter what size, color, age and political views. As a nurse I know being over weight can cause health problems but as far as liking or being attracted to heavy people I have no problem with it. I'm old enough to be legal and opinionated.

I am fat as well.
i do not have a problem with the word fat... i am fat, and call myself fat, and am not insulted when sombody else calls me fat.
i am dissappointed when i see another fat woman calling a naturally thin woman anorexic because of their size.
i am disgusted when i see another fat woman who is size 22 wearing a size 16.
i am flabbergasted when i see another fat woman who is size 16 but wears a 22.
i think that outer beauty has to do with face, smile, confidence, and the way a person carries themself.
i am attracted to some bigger guys... when they have a cute face and carry themselves with confidence.
i was very thin as a child and when i hit puberty i shot up-- literally going from size 6 in girls (at 10) to 13 in juniors(at 13).
i live a healthy life, and do not believe that one can judge lifestyle based on size.

very interesting....let's see, i am not fat (5'5 135pds) at least i don't think that's fat. some fat people look cute. their skin glows somehow, their eyes twinkle a little more, some people just look flat out disgusting--dirty. but to judge a person based on weight, there are so many wonderful overweight people---weight is a constant issue in our society, skinny, fat, whatever. if you are unhealthy, then that's a problem. some are naturally thin, some are naturally robust. it's what we eat and our lifestyles that are key.

I don't really generalise...some are beautiful..some look gross..same as thinner people...
Sometimes tho when I see a fat person I think ..cmon...get a grip but theres a reason why people overeat and gain weight...
Im not attracted to fat men however if I was bi-sexual a fuller figured woman would not put me off...
I am curvy..within normal range...
I keep a steady weight...when my jeans get tight..I stop eating rubbish for a month...
Im in my forties...

You have an ART project on being FAT?
Um.... If you are overweight because of poor eating habits, I'm disgusted by you. If you are overweight because of heredity, I'm indifferent. I am prejudiced towards fat people and will always hold it against them, but who doesn't have that bit in their mind? And I don't know if I'm thin or not. I'm 13, 5'4 and 99.5 pounds. But that's basically my opinion.
