Please share your experience using coconut oil and any brand recommendations. I've been reading up on it and I'm thinking about trying it for some health problems I have. Also if you could tell me a good way to take it (food, drink, etc.).

stainless does have nickle and chromium also other trace elements but don't let that stop yo buying good quality stainless cookware, it would take hundreds or even thousands of years for these elements to start breaking down. having said that I prefer copper bottomed or cast iron pans. when you buy cast iron pans they must be mellowed or proven. then they will not stick put some oil, fat, lard in your new pan and get it smoking hot for a few minutes, turn down the heat and swish the oil around for another few minutes, discard the oil, wipe with a paper towel and put away. never put cast iron away unless wiped with grease, oil, etc etc

This is ridiculous. There are NO known health benefits from coconut oil, despite what some quack claims in a book.
