I am married, and feel that without him helping with bills, and debt we share I can't leave. I have thought of it many times but with three kids its hard. I know we own things, cars of value that are only used as toys, and property. But I feel he is selfish and wont sell to get us out of dept. I feel that he thinks they are only HIS, and wont split. We have been married 14yrs

What's his is also yours whether he likes it or not. I was in the same situation as you, had been married for 13 years and felt that it was time to get out. I rented a place, even lived on welfare for a while and my ex did nothing to help me or the kids out during this time. In fact, he made it hell for us. But, things change, we got the money eventually and are now living a happy life without him. He is the sad loser in all of this and hopefully you can get out of your miserable marriage and be happy again. Good luck.

You don't get into debt so deep when you don't want to stick around. You will have to get a job and move out if it's so bad. The courts will make him sell his toys if he can't support his kids.

What did he do that was so terrible. Sorry but I didn't get that.

You'd better make damned sure that leaving is the right thing to do 'cause once you get that divorce, it's kinda like throwing your children in front of a speeding bus.

Stay with a friend or family member for a while.

Get a lawyer.

Go from there.

Well sweetheart, everything you have (money and debt) are equally yours - 50/50.
