Well this is only good if you are on pointe, but I am assuming you are on it or working to be if you are asking this. It really works!

What I have always done is do 30 calf legs/extensions (standing on the balls of your feet, up, down, up, down..) may want to start out at 10 and work up. A Plié to Leg Sweep (plie, sweep leg up and out). Standing hip extensions (lift your back leg up and spin 15 times at least).

May not see results in a day, but you will feel it and see that it improves the more you do them. Keep the faith and have fun in ballet!

Well, yoga, gymnastics, try standing on your toes a lot, leg work outs, try pointing your toes while sitting with legs straight out try going out of your comfort zone though, b/c although it may not be comfortable, ballet is great and the fact you want ur legs strong for it, that is awome, I am in ballet and at first I had to try so hard to keep balance, and not pull muscles, but after a while and plenty of rest and work outs I am better, so try some yoga and pointing, and good luck to you...

i see a lot of people put yoga which would help, but pilates actually would probably be better to strengthen those leg muscles. i'm assuming you are already taking ballet, if not you might not know what these things are but i'mm tell 'em to ya anyway! :) if you practice plies (especially gronde), releves, eleves, forced arches, chines, piques, basically anything you do in class that maybe start to make your legs to feel tired or hurt will help you stregthen your muscles jst by practicing them more on your own. good luck and i hope this help you! :)

For males, weight training and running. For females, lighter weights with more reps for the smoother, longer muscles, and extreme stretching under professional supervision.

For both genders, Yoga can help tremendously. Finally, practice, practice, practice. No exercise can be a perfect substiture for the real movements of the craft.

Repeated excercises which emphasize your leg muscles. You can increase your strength by adding weight when doing lifts. You increase stamina by increasing the time spent performing the excercises.

Basically you increase strengthby creating greater resistance on the muscles. You increase endurance by draining the built up energy in your legs. You do this by either longer workouts or increasingthe resistence.

Do a few releve's a day , try doing arabesque's on demi pointe and holding it withought holding anything else if you don't have an idea of what these moves are you can look them up on google!

do 3 times a day, as many as possible until your legs are burning and feel weak and super tired!!!

lean against the wall and bend your knees you will feel the burn in seconds (lean your back)
