Drink cranberry juice it helps you pee pee. That will help get some fluids out of her kidneys. Also take a long hot bath in Epsom salt to help loosen her muscles so she can relax.

Keep her feet elevated. Swelling is also a sign of preeclampsia so keep an eye on it.

She needs to cut back on her sodium intake. Has he checked her blood pressure to make sure it is not Pre-Eclampsia (Toxemia)? This can be extremely dangerous!

It sounds like toxemia--not safe or her or for your baby. She needs careful and frequent medical monitoring. I hope she is getting this.

limit salt and drink lots of water. i know it sucks because you have to pee every 10 minutes anyway, but drinking lots of water helps get rid of water.
