They are both prety names and hard to choose from. I would say choose Mckenzee and Makaela. There is always the option of using both sets of names though, like McKenzee Lane and Makaela Lakyn or how ever you chose to mix them. Well anyways hope it helps you out. Good luck with your bundles of joy.

I would go with Mckenzee and Makaela, they sound very pretty. And congratulations to you and your husband. Don't worry and don't stress, God has given you and hubby these two little babies and God will be with you now and through the delivery. God bless.
You can also named them Makaela and Minerva (my name) that sounds even better. They both start with an M and end with a A.

I like Mckenzee and Makaela......
Lakyn and Layne sound an awful lot alike and may be a hindrance later on as calling them will bring both instead of just one... And they may resent the names sounding so similar..
But I am biased as my youngest is named Micaila Linn

~~~Sounds like twins !!! I think a name should flow nicely when you say it,,so it may depend on what your last name is,,,I think your choice of names McKenzee and Makaela are very very nice,,,flow nice and sound softer than Lakyn and Layne,,,,,but your the mom,,,your the one that will say there names god knows how many times :) over the next 60 years,,,so it should be what you find easies to say,,,, ~~~
Lakyn is weird and the kid will get flack in school. I'd go for Mckenzee and Makaela.
I really like McKenzee and Makaela.. they're feminine and pretty, and not too unusual that people won't know how to pronounce them! Congrats on your twins! I'm a twin myself, and me and my sister have always been the best of friends.
