Moss is poised to have an outstanding season. He has good receivers working opposite him, which should take away many double-coverage situations. He has explosive speed and is capable of turning a quick pass into a big play. His strength and quickness make him a tough receiver to jam.
Moss (3 rec, 69 yds) had an OK game in Week 1. Moss burned the Cowboys for some big plays last season; he had seven catches for 232 yards and two scores in two games. Even if he doesn't burn them again, he should do well enough to merit his lineup spot, and a favorable matchup against Houston awaits in Week 3.
The post-30 decline RBs are supposed to endure? It hasn’t happened yet. In fact, Barber looks like he’s getting better with age. He is the most complete back in the NFL, and the Giants are hoping to get the ball in his hands even more in the passing game this season. That's all fine and good, but I suspect the Giants also will try to get the ball in Brandon Jacobs hands even more near the goal line this season. It's hard to imagine Barber matching his brilliant 2005 numbers, especially given the Giants' difficult '06 schedule.
Carson Palmer should be back from his knee injury early in the season, if not Week 1. Still, look for the Bengals to establish a strong running game to keep Palmer out of harm's way as much as possible. In an offense that already strives for balance, Johnson will benefit from the increased reliance on the run. He is not a game-breaker, but he is a consistent workhorse who will run for 90-100 yards each week. He is tough to stop near the goal line, so he'll take advantage of the Bengals' frequent red-zone visits
If you are not using holmes, you have other recievers as good or better, AND you are in a keeper league, do the trade. Rudi will be here in 3 years, and tiki will not. Otherwise, the difference between rudi and Tiki is not enough to warrant giving up holmes as well.

NO, look at the numbers. Tiki is always a top RB fantasy wise, and Moss is going to add to his value as time goes by this year. Rudi is one starter. The numbers just don't add up. The trade would be more balanced if they threw in a starting WR as well.

It depends on the amount of depth you have at reciever. I would say no to the trade unless you are deep at reciever. Anyone telling you Barber will end up w/the same production as Johnson is wrong. If TDs get you points Johnson is much more valuable. I think yardage wise they will be close. But Johnson will probably score 10 more TDs than Barber. Barber is not the Giants goal line back. He has to break a long one to get a TD. If you have some other decent recievers make the trade. Moss or his QB have not impressed me either.

No...it's a terrible trade depending on your scoring system. Rudi is a nice RB in a nice system....but Carson Palmer and the passing game strill takes precedence there. Tiki Barber is his team's entire offense. Those two are close straight up (depending on scoring)....but there is no way I'd throw in Santanna Moss.

I wouldn't do it. Barber and Johnson will probably end up very close in points by the end of the year. Both have very tough schedule this year, so there is no real advantage in getting Rudi. If you really want Rudi then see if they will throw in another receiver to even out the deal.

No way. You are trading two guys who will get more fantasy pts combined than Rudi. Hell, if Tiki has another great yr he may out pt Rudi on his own.

yes both r plus 5 players and rudi is a plus 6 player so if you do
the math you are geting 10 for 6 that is a good trade under the
player grading system

No, I think you're giving away to much. Rudi (who I have in my fantasy league) is compatible to Tiki. So basically you've got equal value. If this is the case why would you want to throw a decent WR in Moss in the deal. Tell them no, hang on to your players.

Depending on your other receivers I might consider this. Cinci is gonna be good this year and Jacobs are getting Tiki's goal line carries. I'd counteroffer without moss or with a lesser receiver. Tiki is = to Rudi
Moss is not going to do well this yr thanks to a bad QB
