Try mucinex. It will help thin your secretions, and therefore get rid of them. Be sure to drink lots of clear liquids--you'll need this to help thin your secretions. If it doesn't clear up within a few days and/or you develop fever, odd colored mucus (ie green, yellow or tan) or other symptoms of infection seek medical care.
If you have long-term problems with allergies, try an over-the-counter medication like claritin etc. for long-term management.

try benedryl, my friend, it sounds like allergies. if it persists, talk to your doctor, you may need a prescription strength medication. good luck! (if it is seasonally affected allergies, like so many are, the 1st good frost should give you some relief)

get some decongestant pills your nose will run bad for a day or so then it should clear up quickly
