Destroying all the cherished family heirlooms and keepsakes, yeah, I'm sure they were happy with that. The smoke and water damage ruined everything. Plus the fact that they realized they had a kid who was turning out to be a total waste-of-space -- yeah a real proud moment in your parents' life. You should thank you mom and dad for not kicking you out of the NEW house and for their continuted support of your worthless ****.

In sentimental value no I don't think you did. I am sure that they lost alot of things that they cherished. Money is not the answer to all things especially the things we cherish most. You can't buy back photos or saved items from childhood that can't be replaced.

You are 29 now correct??? And no, think of all of the priceless items that perished in the fire because of your actions. Your parents owe you nothing.......Are you really 29? I mean come on!

Well it depends on the other things (like objects inside the house)that you may have lost and not been able to replace.

I think all the memorys they lost, all the important things emotionaly that were burned up......sometimes kids are so shallow. Why should they owe you anything. Replace their memorys, and the deathly fear they felt when they thought that they could have lost you and your brother....... if anything you owe them!

No, it was an accident. You should be thankful that you didn't catch on fire too.

You also need to think about what you are thinking of.... while you feel intitled to an out pouring of 'Thanks'. They probably lost things that were irreplaceable to them.

they should be grateful, not necessarily to you, though. had the fire not been an , you might not have been fortunate enough to move somewhere better
