RIGHT U R!! Who was it? Rembrandt or Renoire or someone who painted full-figured women? Anyway, ur right, it's VERY unhealthy (& sickly looking) to force someone to be so skinny. Look at Queen Latifa---she's not skinny, & she looks nice & healthy for example.

It is great to see women who represent the actual size and shape of todays women instead of the airbrush quality that men and women alike try to aspire to b/c they think it is the "norm". The complete ban on skinny models is ridiculous though. There needs to be an even middle ground. All women in all shapes in sizes need to be equally represented. Women today are so centered on what they are supposed to look like instead of being happy with the way they are. That is partly in fault of the fashion world, media and all the supposed "perfect" movie stars. I say its about time that all women be able to be happy and flaunt what they are; not try to be an image on the TV or Cosmo magazine.

It depends how they define skinny. At first I was against it because I don't want really heavy girls as models. When I saw some of the paper thin girls in hollywood these days I changed my mind though. Being too skinny is definitely not attractive either.

i'm thoroughly in the back of the ban, fashions was once so skinny, and it did no longer even compliment the dressmaker's clothing. they could have long previous with "actual" women all alongside!! i'm particular the fashions would be fit now.

i think it is a wonderful thing. hello we don't all look like walking stick's. it would be great to see real normal healthy looking women modeling clothe's. I have 3 daughter's that look up to these women and want to look just like them, but real women don't look like that. well no one i know. lol Freaking wonderful

i agree.healthy should definetly be applauded. the majority of woman dont wear size minus 3 ya know.i think alot of models are flat out ugly, but theyre models because they have "exotic features" and theyre cheekbones stick clear out of there face.

its both good and bad to me. because some woman are naturally thin, but some are bulimic and anorexic but really i think those women who are, anorexic or bulimics go through so much criticism and afraid of being "fat" that they torture themselves to get the appearance of what people "think" is "in". i think the ban will help some of them.

I totally agree with you. Those models look really sick and I don't want my daughter to look at them and think that's how she is suppose to look. It is so unhealthy and not very pretty to look at.

100% agree with you. Besides, if they can put a weight restriction on these girls and reject them for being overweight, what's wrong with putting a weight restriction and reject them for being too skinny????
