What value do the graduation markings on a syringe have? For instance on a 10 ml syringe? This is for use in a science project.
Is there a graphic of a syringe explaining the markings?

you need to lightly tap the side in order to make sure there are no air bubble. the numbers are in cc's or cubic centimeters (used for measuring volume). most are marked with cc although1 cc = 1 ml (milliliter)
