Not all guy's think/are that way. Some men feel like they were trapped into having a kid so they have resentment towards the child and Mom. Some men also get away with not having to take care of the kid. If you have a child support agreement then go to court and handle it. They don't get to see a kid they don't take care of. Some women are afraid to "take" their kid away from their father. When in truth the father is chosing not to take care of his child so he is giving up his right to see the child.

No, I just think when a couple split up, the guy in most cases can't find work or is barely making it by himself. I've never been in this kind of situation, so I can't really say. But when my parents split up (I was 17 but lived with my dad even though the courts said I had to live with my mom) and my sister was 11 and my dad was forced to pay child care for her. He was only required to pay for a certain number of years (I can't remember how long) and then he could've stopped. His lawyer even urged him to stop. But since my dad loved my mom still and us kids so much, he continued to pay when he could have gone to court and easily requested to stop and won.

I don't think it is just guy's. I have a friend that is a great Dad and his ex is a terrible Mom. I think it is just the person. For some reason it just so happens to be a majority of men in this Country. I think we as women have let it happen. It is time for us to take a stand and take a good hard look at ourselves and think twice before we lay down with whom we are laying down with.
Be tough and pick your battles!! I have dealt with a Bad Dad for 7 years now and it seems that it only gets worse the more I fight him!
Good Luck
God Bless

Because you as the mother/female allow them to not have to. It is called child support / court order. My son is 21 and has a daughter 1 yr old and he take awesome care of her. As I am certain there are many men out there that do. So if someone allows them to not have to support their child or children. The mother is just as much at fault for complaining about it and not doing something about it.
I raised both my children without their fathers help. I never once complaiined about it......... As it wa my choice to raise them alone. So if you take them to court and they fail to pay, then to jail they go......

They weren't raised to accept responsibility for their actions. It all goes back to what their parents taught them.If they weren't raised in a loving, nuturing family ,then they probably won't create their own.

I am pretty sure that not all men think they don't have to take care of their kids.
Now if you are asking why your husband thinks he doesn't have to take care of the kids...
