First, I distance myself from what I'm feeling. I take time to quiet down, sometimes try to trace possible sources of my distress.
if I feel paralyzed and feel some lack control, I stay still and hurt. I know it'll pass.

I breathe.

then, to get myself up, I talk to a friend or family member, watch or read something funny, walk, pet my dog, or do some manual labor. many of these things work, especially the first. Some people also pray.

Planning and directly addressing real life problems a step at a time works very well too.

Grab It by the horns, and take It down.
The key is not allowing this to become an issue in the first place.

Life is a gift. It is precious.
Don't allow the thoughts, actions of others to affect you.
Be kind to all people, yet be assertive, and never take any s--t.

Surround yourself with positive people.
Always remember that you have the choice, the power, to make a difference.

Get up early, and watch the sun come up.
Today is going to be different.

Good Luck! :)

I start by dont giving a damn about others; what they think of me or what they comment about me cause they dont know what im going through. I just hush them in my disconcerting arrogance. Yes, im arrogant as I know even if life is unbearable, im living it my way and thats really something im proud of.

A shot of Jack and a tall, cold Bud seems to do the trick. Then, I go back and work out the problem. Except for my second marrage, works all the time. Hope I helped. Later all.

You talk to people who are going through the same thing as you, that way you can relate. If that is not an option do something you love to do, or surround yourself with people you like and you can have fun with.
