I like their chances a lot. The injury to Palmer on their first series in the playoffs last year against the Steelers may have been the only thing that kept them out of the SB last year (speculation on my part, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has thought this). The AFC is loaded with quality teams like the Ravens,Steelers, Jaguars, Colts, and Chargers. The next 2 games will tell us a lot as the Bengals travel to Pittsburgh this weekend and then host the Patriots the following week. If they are 4-0 a week from Sunday, I think they become a favorite to win the AFC. They would still have several tough games left against Atlanta, San Diego, two against Baltimore, one more against Pittsburgh, and one against the Colts. I think the Bengals are going to be a tough team to beat all season long and could end the year 12-4 or better. If they get to the SB this year it will be their third trip and I think they could beat any NFC team there to pick up their first ever SB championship.

As a die-hard Steeler fan I regretfully have to say they have a better chance then the Steelers. Palmer is back stronger then ever. He looks really good throwing. They strengthened the defense in the off-season and it shows. They will miss Pollack at LB, but they can adjust and will be contenders. I have to say though that the AFC North is the strongest division with the Bengals, Steelers, and the much improved Ravens. Look for one of these teams to represent the AFC in Miami!

Considering all their issues (arrests) before the season even started, they have impressed. I am wondering if their defense will hold up all year. The next two contests (Pittsburgh and New England) will really say a lot about this team. If they win those two, then look out. We all know Indy will have their usual playoff breakdown.

I think they have a great chance to get there but i would keep an eye on San Diego, they are looking very good. I would have to say the Bears are going to be superbowl champs this year. GO BEARS...
P.S. Packers Suck

Hell no they have to get passed baltimore first and when they do play they better protect palmer in the back field or the ravens D might hurt that fragile little knee of his.

too early to tell IMO. The football season is a marathon not a sprint, but San Diego has looked very very strong, also have to give credit to the Jags who have beaten Dallas and Pittsburg.

Make the Super Bowl, perhaps. Bear in mind that the division is fairly strong. I'd say they're good to make the AFC championship if they make playoffs.
